outcometick has no user accounts: access is an API key. These terms apply to every key we issue — data subscriptions, date-range purchases, smart-money plans, backtest credits and free keys. Using a key means accepting them.

One key, one customer

A key is for the person or organization that bought it, or that we issued it to. Within an organization, its own staff and contractors working for it may use the same key.

Running a key from several machines of your own — servers, cloud jobs, notebooks — is fine. Giving it to anyone else, posting it publicly, or sharing it with a group is not.

A key is a password. If you think yours has leaked, tell us and we will revoke it and issue a replacement.

What you may do with the data

You may use the data for your own research, trading, models, backtests and internal tools, and you may publish what you derive from it — charts, statistics, findings, backtest results — as long as the publication does not reproduce the files themselves.

You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense or republish the archive files, or any substantial part of them, whether as files, as a dataset, or through an API or service of your own.

The free public sample day is published under its own licence, stated where it is published; these limits apply to data obtained with a key.

Free and trial keys

We issue free keys at our discretion, for evaluation. Each one covers the data and the period stated when it is issued, and nothing more.

One free key per person or organization. Asking for several, under different names or addresses, or using free keys to collect data beyond an evaluation, is not allowed.

Free keys can be shortened or revoked at any time.

How we check, and what happens

We record, per key and per day, the networks it is used from, how many requests it makes and how much it downloads (see the privacy policy). Nothing is blocked automatically; a person reviews the pattern.

If a key is shared, resold, published or used against these terms, we may revoke it. We will contact the buyer first where we have a way to.

The data itself

The data is provided as collected, with gaps left as gaps. The coverage and caveats are documented on the site; we do not guarantee that any day, market or field is present, or that the service is available at any given time.

Nothing here is investment advice. You are responsible for the decisions you make with the data.
